Hon­ey Bad­ger Pale Ale

The Lin­colnshire Mar­riott Resort part­nered with Lake Bluff Brew­ing Co. to cre­ate Hon­ey Bad­ger, a gold­en ale brewed with hon­ey har­vest­ed from hives on the resort prop­er­ty — a small col­lab­o­ra­tion root­ed direct­ly in place.

We devel­oped a series of posters to intro­duce the beer with­in the resort, pair­ing bold, play­ful lines with the visu­al lan­guage of craft brew­ing. The cam­paign leaned into the name’s irrev­er­ence and the sto­ry of its ori­gin: bees, brew­ing, and a local­ly made ale tied to the land­scape around it.

Dis­played through­out the prop­er­ty, the posters framed the beer as both nov­el­ty and local arti­fact — some­thing brewed near­by and belong­ing to the set­ting in which it was served. The result was a con­cise, site-spe­cif­ic iden­ti­ty for a one-off col­lab­o­ra­tion: part hos­pi­tal­i­ty, part craft cul­ture, part storytelling.
