Every place has a pat­tern, a rhythm, a sto­ry — a struc­ture that emerges over time. I’m drawn to projects shaped by that sense of place: things built delib­er­ate­ly, with his­to­ries, con­straints and character.

I’m Nathaniel Davis, a design­er and cre­ative direc­tor based in Chica­go. Over the past two decades, I’ve worked across indus­tries and scales, help­ing shape brand sys­tems, cam­paigns, and long-term iden­ti­ty platforms.

I’m most engaged by work root­ed in con­vic­tion — the ear­ly con­ver­sa­tions that define what gets built and how it endures.

Out­side of client work, I care about craft, place, and the qui­et details that make some­thing feel considered.
